How we work with our couples at Stem and Petals
Establishing a clear and organised process is key for a smooth and successful collaboration with couples. Here's a breakdown of the steps we follow at Stem and Petals:
Initial Questionnaire
We will begin the process by emailing you an initial detailed questionnaire. The questionnaire covers details such as wedding date, venue, preferred colour scheme, floral preferences, inspiration pictures/ Pinterest boards and any specific themes or styles you have in mind. This information serves as the foundation for creating a personalised floral design.
Initial Design Proposal
After receiving the completed questionnaire and the information we gather we then create an initial Design Specification and Quotation based on the preferences and the details provided. Including pictures of previous work, a complete breakdown of each individual element, detailed flower index and an idea of the overall cost. This stage allows for feedback and adjustments before finalising the design.
Feedback and Revisions:
Encourage the couples (you) to share your thoughts on the initial design proposal. This collaborative process ensures that the floral arrangements align with your vision. Make any necessary revisions to the design until it perfectly captures the essence of your dream wedding florals.
In-Person Meeting at our Workshop:
Once the couple have reviewed and provided feedback on the initial design, we schedule an in-person meeting at our workshop (north Bristol). During this meeting we discuss the proposal in detail. This provides a valuable opportunity for a face-to-face discussion, fostering a deeper understanding of your preferences and allowing you to see samples of flowers and arrangements in person along with our vast collection of props and added extras. Additionally, we can address any questions or concerns you may have and to make adjustments where necessary to solidify the vision for the big day.
Finalising Details:
After the in-person meeting, we then re work the Design Specification and Quotation if needs be and email over for you to have a look through. Note: this does not mean that your designs are set in stone…they can develop and change over time which is completely normal and if you have a long lead up time we are more than happy to meet more than once at our workshop.
