Theme: Classic White, Forest Green, Gold, and Black
Kelsey and Jack chose a timeless colour palette of crisp white, forest green, gold, and black for their May wedding at Piston Mill. Their vision combined classic elegance with modern touches, creating a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the stunning main barn, where we lined the aisle with soft white rose petals on either side, creating a romantic pathway. At the base of the ceremony table, we arranged clear glass cylinder vases filled with candles for a gentle glow, and added a few delicate flower arrangements to the table for an extra touch of charm. To tie the aisle decor together, alternating chairs were draped with forest green muslin sashes, each adorned with a single white rose, blending seamlessly with the petal-lined aisle and enhancing the elegant theme.
The Wedding Breakfast
For the reception, we used tall gold stands to create dramatic, wild, and trailing floral designs that added height and grandeur to the room. These elevated arrangements allowed for space below to include candles and table decor—leaving plenty of room for wine and conversation. The combination of lush greenery and classic white flowers against the gold stands brought a touch of opulence to the celebration.
Additional Decor
To add a personal touch, we designed a personalized welcome sign decorated with a mix of floral elements that matched the wedding’s color scheme. The sign greeted guests as they arrived, featuring the couple’s names and wedding date. We also created charming stacked lantern displays on either side of the aisle, accented with candles, which added warmth and a bit of extra elegance to the ceremony space.
Bridal Flowers
Kelsey's bouquet was a wild yet refined arrangement of white and green, keeping with the classic, natural aesthetic of the day. Her bridesmaids carried smaller versions of her bouquet, creating a cohesive visual effect that tied the bridal party together beautifully and complemented the overall design.
