Sophie and Dan
The Mount Without,
St Michael Hill,Bristol
Designing wedding flowers for Sophie and Dan at The Mount Without promised to be a beautiful and enchanting experience. With their vision for a simple and elegant celebration, complemented by the warm glow of candlelight, we created a romantic atmosphere that perfectly aligned with the unique charm of this reclaimed church on St Michael's Hill in Bristol
Candlelight:
The venue was adorned with an abundance of candlelight, from pillar candles lining the aisle to votive candles scattered throughout the reception space. The warm, flickering glow added a touch of magic, creating the romantic atmosphere that Sophie and Dan envisioned.
For the ceremony space within The Mount Without, we envisioned soft drapery intertwined with delicate dusky blue and white florals, framing the aisle and altar. Elegant white blooms such as blue delphinium, roses, and ranunculus added a timeless touch. Pew ends adorned with subtle floral clusters in the chosen colour palette guided Sophie down the aisle, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance.
The Ceremony:
Reception:
As the celebration moved to the reception areas, the dusky blue and white colour palette was seamlessly integrated into the decor. Table centerpieces featuring white blooms in various heights, interspersed with flickering candlelight, created an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Dusky blue linens and subtle accents on the tables enhanced the overall aesthetic. The reclaimed and repurposed character of The Mount Without was celebrated with arrangements that enhanced its unique charm.
Bouquets and Boutonniere:
Sophie's bouquet was a vision of sophistication, combining dusky blue and white florals in a loose and elegant arrangement. Roses, anemones, and silver-dollar eucalyptus created a bouquet that was both timeless and romantic.
Dan's boutonniere was a delicate composition of white blooms, echoing the elegance of Sophie's bouquet. A touch of dusky blue ribbon tied the floral elements together, completing the cohesive look.
